Speculation is building that President Trump might meet with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un during his visit to the Demilitarized Zone today.<br />We have our Kan Hyeong-woo at the Unification Bridge, on the road to the border village of Panmunjeom.<br />Hyeong-woo, what are you hearing about Trump's trip to the DMZ? <br />Da-eun, so what I got from the office of the press secretary at the White House is that President Trump is scheduled to leave from the U.S. Army Garrison in Yongsan at 1:45 PM today and head to the Joint Security Area in the DMZ.<br />The U.S. leader will arrive at the JSA landing zone at 2:10 in the afternoon,... suggesting that Trump is likely to take a helicopter to the DMZ. <br />Though it's not clear where exactly Trump will visit in the border area,... the schedule does specifically say he's going to "view North Korea."<br />Trump could visit Observation Post Ouellette and look at the North through binoculars,... which is where former U.S. Presidents visited during their trips to the DMZ. <br />After that, Trump is expected to meet with American and South Korean service members before leaving for Osan Air Base to wrap up his two-day stay in South Korea.<br />That would be a total of about an hour and a half in the border area.<br /> We now know for sure that President Moon is going to the DMZ with Trump, but we don't know whether a trilateral meeting with Kim Jong-un will take place today. <br />I have been here since 9AM this morning,... and I've seen lots of movement... including security vehicles crossing the bridge and going through the gate behind me. <br />That's all I have for now but we will keep you updated throughout the day.
