Korea's agriculture ministry is encouraging the voluntary registration of pets from July to August.<br />According to the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, …those who register their pets or modify the information of registered animals during the two-month period will be exempt from fines.<br />Currently, pet owners in Korea are required to register dogs over three months of age.<br />Starting September, local governments will crack down on unregistered animals and impose fines.<br />Registration and modification of information can be done through public offices, designated agencies and animal-dot-g-o-dot-k-r.<br />
