Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Dr Mujahid Yusof Rawa has denied issuing a statement, saying that the persecution of Uighur Muslims in China was “false news”.<br /><br />According to Dr Mujahid, news portal Free Malaysia Today had misinterpreted his speech text, which was delivered at the Beijing Foreign Studies University on June 28.
