A female scooter driver narrowly escaped death after being run over by a truck in southern China.<br /><br />The terrifying video, filmed in Zigong city in Sichuan province on June 28, shows a scooter driving in front of a truck, waiting for the traffic lights to change. <br /><br />However, the truck suddenly started to move forward, knocking down the scooter and crushing it.<br /><br />The woman can be seen lying in between the wheels of the truck as it passed over her.<br /><br />According to reports, the scooter drove into the blind spot of the truck after illegally crossing the road.<br /><br />The woman suffered injuries to her right foot and she is being treated in hospital. The case is being investigated.
