Protesters smashed the windows of Hong Kong’s Legislative Council on Monday (July 1).<br /><br />Video filmed today shows protesters wearing masks and helmets smashing the windows with sticks.<br /><br />The attempt to storm the building coincided with the 22nd anniversary of the former British colony’s handover to China.
