Young protesters in Hong Kong clad in black barricaded the police inside the offices of chief executive Carrie Lam on Monday (July 1).<br /><br />Video shows police retreating behind a fence into the government building before protesters arrive, dragging a heavy object to block the exit.<br /><br />Protesters are also seen running supplies to each other.<br /><br />The protests coincided with the 22nd anniversary of the former British colony’s handover to China.
