U.S. President Donald Trump is preparing for the biggest Independence Day celebration at the Lincoln Memorial this year.
The event called "Salute to America" to be held on Thursday, will include a military parade, concerts, fireworks, and a speech by the President.
However, what President Trump calls a celebration of the country, is seen by critics as Trump trying to take the spotlight during the traditionally non-partisan July 4th celebrations and another effort to separate himself from every other president.
It also raised questions on who will foot the bill for the celebration.
According to The Washington Post, some of the events were paid for using National Park Service's funds used for park maintenance.
