A powerful 6-point-4 magnitude earthquake struck Southern California on Thursday, the strongest quake to hit the region in two decades.<br />The quake, which hit at around 10:30AM local time, was centered in the Searles Valley located west of the Mojave Desert... and it was felt in LA and even as far away as Las Vegas.<br />The temblor was followed by lots of aftershocks, at least 85, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.<br />No reports of fatalities as of now, but the quake downed power lines, caused rock slides and sparked building fires.<br />
