Ruslan Abdullah, the Malaysian Palm Oil Council (MPOC) director for science and environment, said that the European palm oil ban is hypocritical.<br /><br />Citing examples of supermarkets in the UK he said they portrayed palm oil as being bad in their marketing but still have products that contained palm oil.<br /><br />He also pointed out how their products marketed in this part of the world had no labels and questioned if a product that is not safe for Europeans is safe for Asians.<br />
