As many as 1.5 million people have descended on London today (Saturday) for what is being billed as the UK’s biggest and most diverse Pride parade yet.<br /><br />This year participants are celebrating 50 years since the Stonewall uprising in New York which launched the LGBT movement.<br /><br />The 2019 event also comes a month after a shocking homophobic attack on two women on board a London bus which prompted widespread condemnation.
