Southern California remains on edge,... as a series of aftershocks continue to rattle the region following a seven-point-one-magnitude earthquake that struck outside the city of Ridgecrest on Friday.<br />Three quakes of magnitude 5 or higher occurred within the first hour of the main earthquake,... and experts say residents can expect aftershocks of up to magnitude 6. <br />Friday's quake was the strongest tremor that the region has experienced in nearly two decades.<br />It came after a six-point-four magnitude quake hit the area on Thursday, cutting off power in the region.<br />Scientists say there have been more than 14-hundred aftershocks. <br />
