Sexual Misconduct Scene in
‘Toy Story 2’ Removed From Re-Release The entire ‘Toy Story’ franchise was recently
re-released on 4k, Blu-ray and DVD in honor
of the opening of ‘Toy Story 4’ on June 20. According to multiple release forums,
a post-credit scene from ‘Toy Story 2’ has
been removed due to its inappropriate nature. The scene in question features the movie’s villain,
Stinky Pete, suggestively speaking to two Barbie
dolls and offering them roles in the next film. He then panics when he realizes he’s being watched
and quickly changes to a professional demeanor. The scene’s removal is believed to be a result
of the recent Time's Up movement, which shed light
on many cases of misconduct in Hollywood. ‘Toy Story 2’s’ co-director, John Lasseter, was also
accused of sexually harassing coworkers in 2017, which ultimately resulted in his
departure from Disney in 2018.
