The South Korean government has hinted that additional measures could be implemented to curb skyrocketing real estate prices, particularly those in Seoul.<br />Speaking at the National Assembly on Monday, Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Kim Hyun-mee said she is considering the implementation of a price cap on apartments built on privately-owned housing sites.<br />It's a measure that hasn't been contemplated for the past five years due to fears it'll reduce housing supply or the quality of housing.<br />Currently, the cap is applied solely on state-owned housing sites.<br />
