Home Minister Muhyiddin Yassin has assured that the police would be independent with regard to investigating a sex video implicating Economic Affairs Minister Azmin Ali.<br /><br />The Bersatu president was asked if the police would be able to conduct a fair probe when Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad had dismissed the video as fake and defended Azmin twice on the matter.<br /><br />Azmin has described the video, which shows a man resembling him engaged in sexual acts with another man, as part of a nefarious campaign to ruin his political career.<br />
