한미, FTA 7년만에 첫 양자협의<br /><br />South Korea and the U.S. have begun official discussions in Seoul, at Washington's request, about the treatment of American companies in Korea.<br />Specifically, local media reports say it's about the tech company Qualcomm, which faces big fines here.<br />But Korean government officials say it's not about any one company.<br />The trade ministry in Seoul says the talks relate to the investigation procedures of Korea's Fair Trade Commission.<br />Under the Korea-U.S. FTA, the two sides are allowed to request official consultations with, but this is the first time it's happened in seven years.<br />
