Crowds of cyclists demonstrated in New York's Washington Square Park yesterday (July 9).<br /><br />The legion of bikers from across the city gathered for a five-minute long “mass die-in” to raise awareness for safer roads.<br /><br />Bikers cried, sharing grief over lost friends, and directed their anger at City Hall, at one point chanting “do your job” to Mayor Bill de Blasio. <br /><br />An Extinction Rebellion activist laid on the front of the Taxi stopping traffic.
