Actor Rip Torn <br />Dead at 88 According to his publicist, the Emmy-winning actor died on Tuesday at home with his wife and daughters. The cause of death <br />has not been revealed. Born Elmore Rual Torn, he took on the name Rip as a child and made his film debut in 1956's 'Baby Doll.' The Texan is also known for <br />his roles in 'Men in Black,' <br />'City Heat,' 'DodgeBall,' and the 'The Larry Sanders Show,' which he won an Emmy for.
