Paulson's absence from season nine may be due <br />to her busy schedule. She will appear in the upcoming <br />FX miniseries 'Mrs. America' and is starring in the Netflix show, 'Ratched.' 'Ratched,' which is from 'AHS' co- creator <br />Ryan Murphy, is a prequel to the film <br />'One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.'
