北에 불법 유류환적으로 한국 억류된 선박 '코티' 고철 폐기 결정<br /><br />The UNSC's North Korea sanctions committee recently approved Seoul's request to dismantle a vessel being held in South Korea for illegal ship-to-ship transfers of oil products to the North.<br />It has been held in Pyeongtaek since December 2017.<br />The nation asked for the UN's approval to scrap the ship in mid-May.<br />This is the first time that a vessel is being destroyed for violating UN sanctions.<br />According to Seoul's foreign ministry, the case will send a clear message to the international community what measures will be taken against such violators.<br />
