A man suspected of boating under the influence made a bad choice when he decided to flee law enforcement.<br />According to Newser, Oregon resident Robert Callahan jumped into the waters of Lake Shasta, rather than taking a sobriety test.<br />He made it about 50 yards before asking a deputy to come pluck him out of the California lake.<br />Once on the patrol boat, the 31-year-old was shown to have a blood-alcohol concentration of 0.29%.<br />Callahan was booked into Shasta County Jail, as was the boat's owner. <br />
