The Federal Aviation Administration says that since 1947, 126 people have tried to hitch rides on planes.<br />But CNN reports over 77% of stowaways die on the flight.<br />After sneaking into the wheel well of a plane, stowaways can be crushed when the landing gear starts going in.<br />Or, stowaways can die from lack of oxygen or hypothermia from freezing temperatures during the flight.<br />The country with the most reports of stowaways is Cuba, followed by the Dominican Republic and China. <br />
