The migrant rescue ship Alan Kurdi is making its way towards the Italian port of Lampedusa.<br />The ship was named in honor of the Syrian boy whose body washed ashore at the height of the 2015 migrant crisis.<br />This, despite a warning from the country's far-right Interior Minister Matteo Salvini that it is closed.<br />According to CNN, it sets the scene for another standoff with Italian authorities.<br />They're attempting to prevent migrant rescue boats operating in the Mediterranean from docking in the country's ports. <br />
