The Federal Aviation Administration says that every year, 14,000 bird strikes happen at US airports.<br />And according to Gizmodo, one such strike on Monday could have been especially catastrophic.<br />That's when a bird strike caused an A-10C Thunderbolt II to accidentally release three bombs over Florida.<br />Thankfully, the bombs were just dummies designed for trainings.<br />The incident happened on July 1st, about 54 miles southwest of Moody Air Force base during a routine training mission. <br />
