<br /> A new study suggests that the secondhand effects of alcohol consumption are a source of serious harm.<br />One in five Americans hurt by another person’s drinking annually, reports Gizmodo.<br />A report by the World Health Org found drinking directly contributed to just over 5% of all deaths worldwide in 2016.<br />These deaths ranged from car accidents, ODs, terminal cases of liver cancer, and other chronic diseases.<br />Alcohol is responsible for over one in 20 of all deaths worldwide. <br />
