A widespread outage affected AT&T network customers on Tuesday, impacting services for thousands of subscribers.<br />Customers complained of issues with sending text messages and many reported not being able to contact emergency services.<br />Police departments in Texas, Indiana, Alabama, Massachusetts, and several other states reported similar issues.<br />An AT&T spokesperson issued a statement saying the problem has been resolved and the company apologizes to "anyone who was affected". <br />
