A major study has found that many common anticholinergic drugs could increase the risk of dementia by up to 50 percent.<br />The study was published in the journal JAMA Internal Medicine on Monday and suggests that the link is strongest for certain types of drugs.<br />CNN reports the drugs of particular concern are antidepressants, bladder antimuscarinics, antipsychotics, and antiepileptic drugs. <br />
