According to Reuters, Britain's Secretary of State for Environment Michael Gove wants to leave the EU before holding an election.<br />In the wake of Prime Minister Theresa May's resignation, Gove is a frontrunner in the race to succeed her.<br />Gove said over Twitter that the United Kingdom must leave the European Union before holding a general election.<br />He added that if a snap election is held soon, the Conservative Party will be punished at the ballot box. <br />
