According to Business Insider, a sealed indictment for Julian Assange has been released by the Justice Department.<br />The Department of Justice charged the founder of WikiLeaks with 17 counts, including violations of the Espionage Act.<br />Assange was indicted for his role role in obtaining and disseminating information provided by former US army analyst Chelsea Manning.<br />These latest charges are part of a superseding indictment returned by a grand jury in the Eastern District of Virginia. <br />
