Rockets Land <br />Russell Westbrook in <br />Blockbuster Deal With Thunder In exchange, Houston has sent <br />point guard Chris Paul and <br />draft picks to Oklahoma City. The deal comes soon after the rebuilding Thunder traded <br />star forward Paul George <br />to the Clippers. In that swap, Oklahoma City also received a multitude of first-round draft picks. The 30-year-old Westbrook will now join forces with his old teammate, former MVP James Harden. According to ESPN, the <br />eight-time NBA All-Star was pushing <br />for the trade to play with Harden again. In his last year with the Thunder, Westbrook averaged a<br />triple-double for the regular season. The point guard, who is also an NBA MVP winner, recorded 22.9 points, 10.7 assists and 11.1 rebounds.
