At least 45-thousand people in New York City are without power after a massive outage that started a few hours ago.<br />According to local media, the outage on Saturday evening has left elevators stalled and subway cars stranded.<br />The New York City Fire Department said it was caused by a fire that started on the west side of Manhattan,... and firefighters have been rescuing people trapped in elevators.<br />The subway authorities have closed four stations.<br />Utility company Con Edison says it's working to restore power. <br />
