Chandrayaan-2 is set to launch on July 15. It is a proud moment for India, as it is on the verge of several records. Not only is it the first Indian mission to explore the lunar terrain using indigenous technology. <br />If it succeeds, ISRO will become the first space agency to touch down on the moon’s South Pole. India will also become only the fourth country to attempt a soft landing on the lunar surface after erstwhile USSR, USA and China.
