In football, top South Korean striker Hwang Ui-jo is leaving for Europe to pursue the next step in his career.<br />It was officially announced over the weekend that French football club Girondins de Bordeaux have reached an agreement with Hwang's current team in Japan, Gamba Osaka to transfer him.<br />Reports say all that's left for the 26-year-old is the medical tests and paperwork.<br />As for the details of the contract, reports say Hwang is close to agreeing to a 4-year term.<br />Hwang has 27 international caps to his name.<br />Eight of those were with the South Korean senior national team.<br /><br />
