Mitsubishi says it will not respond to S. Korean plaintiffs' request: Kyodo News

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries appears likely to ignore a deadline set by South Korean plaintiffs... to come to the table and discuss compensating the Koreans it used for forced labor during World War Two.<br />The deadline is today, July 15th,... after which the plaintiffs said they will take action to liquidate Mitsubishi's local assets.<br />But according to Kyodo News, the company said Sunday that it has no plan to respond to the demand.<br />Mitsubishi's assets in Korea have already been seized by the South Korean government after the Supreme Court ruled that the company must compensate the forced labor victims.<br /><br />
