The Opposition on Monday brought a motion to refer Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng to the Rights and Privileges Committee for misleading the House on the Goods and Services Tax (GST) refund issue.<br /><br />Last August, Lim told the Dewan Rakyat that RM19.4bil was "robbed" by the previous government.<br /><br />However, the PAC said in its report that no money was missing and the GST refunds were used for government expenditure and development instead.<br /><br />Read more at https://www.thestar.com.my/news/nation/2019/07/15/opposition-brings-motion-to-refer-guan-eng/
