U.S. President Donald Trump has admitted the trade war between Washington and Beijing has taken a toll on his personal friendship with Chinese President Xi Jinping.<br />According to Politico, America's political daily, Trump explained during a White House event that Washington has been losing an estimated eight-hundred billion U.S. dollars a year to China.<br />Meanwhile, a World Trade Organization appeals ruling filed by China seven years ago could pave the way for Beijing to impose sanctions against Washington's tariffs.<br />Beijing went to the WTO in 2012 to challenge America's anti-subsidy tariffs on Chinese exports, including those on solar panels and wind towers.<br />
