How to Change your Password on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS?<br /><br />Method 1: Via Terminal:-<br /><br />Step 1: Right click on the desktop, and then click on 'open terminal.'<br /><br />Step 2: After that, type the command below, and then hit enter.<br /><br /> passwd<br /><br />Step 3: Provide Current password, and then hit enter. After that, provide new password, and then hit enter. Retype it again, and then hit enter.<br /><br />Step 4: After success, you will get message like 'password updated successfully.'<br /><br /><br />Method 2: Via GUI Way<br /><br />Step 1: Click on Panel at the top right.<br /><br />Step 2: Click on Settings, and then click on 'details,' and then click on 'users.'<br /><br />Step 3: Click on Password box.
