Apple Announces <br />Disability-Themed Emojis In an effort to promote diversity, Apple is adding disability-focused emojis to their collection. The new characters were announced <br />to coincide with World Emoji Day. Users can expect to see a guide dog, <br />wheelchairs, prosthetic limbs and more. Apple submitted a proposal to include<br />disability-themed emojis to the <br />Unicode Consortium in March 2018. The tech giant notes that the new additions <br />are not comprehensive of all disabilities, <br />but will act as a starting point.
