The World Health Organization has declared the Ebola crisis in the Democratic Republic of Congo a "public health emergency of international concern."<br />Wednesday's declaration comes as almost seventeen-hundred people have died since the outbreak was reported 11 months ago.<br />Since then, a campaign of vigilance and vaccination had kept the virus confined within two provinces in northeastern Congo.<br />But on Wednesday, the WHO reported a fisherwoman had died in Congo after four vomiting incidents at a market in Uganda.<br />The WHO said the designation is aimed at accelerating production of the vaccine,... which is in short supply.<br />
