Hundreds took to the streets of New York on Wednesday (July 17) after federal prosecutors chose not to bring charges against a New York City police officer involved in the death of Eric Garner in 2014.<br /><br />African-American Eric Garner was arrested on charges of selling loose cigarettes and died after being placed in a chokehold by an officer.<br /><br />Footage shows demonstrators marching from Foley Square to the front of One Police Plaza, holding signs and makeshift coffins.<br /><br />Eric Garner's two children and mother were present to demand justice and called for the officer to be fired from the NYPD.
