"Game of Thrones" actors Gwendoline Christie, Alfie Allen, and Carice Van Houten are up for Emmy awards for the first time.<br /><br />Unlike their other seven costars, HBO did not submit Christie, Allen, and Van Houten for consideration for this year's Emmys.<br /><br />Instead the three actors paid a $225 fee and submitted themselves, landing the nominations.<br /><br />According to Business Insider, fans are celebrating the actors' advocacy for their own work on "Game of Thrones." <br />
