Business Insider reports that US District Judge Richard Berman announced his decision to deny Jeffrey Epstein bail.<br />Epstein is a wealthy financier and convicted sex offender currently facing charges in the Southern District of New York.<br />Federal prosecutors and two of Epstein's accusers argued that releasing Epstein on bail would endanger the public.<br />They also argued that bail would allow for potential obstruction of justice due to his wealth and connections. <br />
