홍남기, 반도체 R&D 분야 주52시간 예외 검토<br /><br />South Korea's finance minister Hong Nam-ki says he's considering allowing extended working hours outside the 52-hour maximum workweek system.<br />He says this in order for local companies affected by Japan's export restrictions to spend more time developing materials used to manufacture semiconductors.<br />The remarks came in a meeting earlier today with relevant ministries to discuss countermeasures to Japan's export curbs.<br />Other measures include shortening the time for licensing on chemical substances and seeking financial support for the companies.<br />The ministers also checked on the aftermaths that could arise if Seoul is excluded from Tokyo's export whitelist.<br />
