Occurred on July 16, 2019 / St. Simons Island, Georgia, USA<br /><br />Info from Licensor: "This happened on Tuesday, July 16th, 2019 on East Beach St Simons Island GA. A huge pod of pilot whales were way too close to shore and a ton of people were helping pushed these beaches whales into deeper water. 3 whales died however at least 30 or so were saved as the result of the rescue effort."
