A tornado hit otherwise quiet areas outside Manchester in the UK on Friday.<br /><br />It uprooted trees and unnerved locals unused to what is a rare weather event in the UK.<br /><br />Animals at the Alpaca farm where a tree was uprooted (shown in the video) were indoors at the time and unhurt, said Martin Kevill, who shot the video.<br /><br />The tornado hit the Greater Manchester and Cheshire area at about 16:30BST on Friday 19 July.
