This is the shocking moment a motorbike collided at speed with a teenage boy on a bicycle, before speeding away.<br /><br />Fourteen-year-old Worawut Chuthaisong was on his bicycle, waiting to cross the street to pick up his mother's laundry in the early hours of Friday 19 July. But a speeding biker going the wrong way down the road smashed into the boy, before fleeing.<br /><br />Bystanders rushed to help the young victim, who was taken to hospital, where he is now being looked after. It was said he was lucky to survive.<br /><br />A local restaurant owner told police that the motorcyclist had stopped at their shop after the accident and that he and his friend - whom he recognised as someone who worked at a shop over the road - were both very drunk. <br /><br />A police spokesman said: ''The motorcyclist will certainly be prosecuted for reckless driving causing injury to others, and the fine will be a maximum of 6,000 baht or imprisonment for three years.''
