On Saturday, the United States celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing.<br />President Trump met with astronauts Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins at the White House a day earlier,... and on Saturday, Aldrin went with Vice President Mike Pence to the Apollo 11 launch site in Florida.<br />The first man to step foot on the moon, Neil Armstrong, died in 2012.<br />But in his hometown in Ohio, some 2-thousand people joined in "Run to the Moon" races.<br />In New York, there was a Moon Landing Party planned in Times Square, but it had to be moved indoors because of extreme heat. <br />
