South Korea has seen the steepest decline in exports in the first four months of this year, among the world's ten biggest exporting countries.<br />That's according to the World Trade Organisation.<br />It said Korea recorded 181 billion U.S. dollars in outbound shipments between January and April,... a six-point-nine percent drop compared to 2018.<br />That's the largest rate of decline after Japan and Germany, which saw a 5-point-six percent and six-point-four percent drop respectively.<br />Other major exporters including the United Kingdom, Hong Kong and Italy also experienced negative growth this year.<br />Only the United States and China saw export figures increase,... by zero-point-five percent and zero-point-two percent respectively.<br />Experts attribute the global slowdown to trade tensions between the G2 economies,... and warn Korea and Japan's ongoing trade spat could exacerbate the situation. <br />
