A protest against planned demolition of Palestinian homes in the Wadi al-Hummus neighbourhood was forcibly broken up by Israeli soldiers on Saturday.<br /><br />A journalist was reportedly injured while others suffered from teargas inhalation.<br /><br />Hundreds of apartments occupied by Palestinians are due to be demolished on the grounds that the buildings are too close to Israel's 'separation barrier', despite technically being on Palestinian Authority-controlled territory.
