Those of you on Jeju or in other southern parts of the country will need an umbrella as southern provinces will see showers in the afternoon.<br /><br />Meanwhile, the heat will get more intense. Not to mention today is Jungbok, the middle of the hottest part of summer in Korea. Living up to the term, a heat wave advisory is in place for much of the peninsula.<br /><br />Daily highs will range from 29 to 34 degrees. One popular dish to eat on Jungbok is samgyetang, a soup made with chicken and ginseng to help you cope with the heat.<br /><br />Many of us will feel uncomfortable in the afternoon, high humidity will be no help.<br />Drink plenty of water and try to avoid unnecessary outdoor activities during the day.<br /><br />A Monsoonal front will bring showers to central regions in the middle of this week, bringing relief from the scorching heat.<br /><br />That's Korea for you and here's the international weather for viewers around the world.<br /><br /><br />
