A container ship under the South Korean flag has been attacked by pirates this morning in the South China Sea.<br />The Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries said the crew of the "CK Blue Bell", which was travelling from Brazil to Incheon, were beaten and robbed at 4:25 AM Monday... some 100 miles away from the Strait of Singapore.<br />The container ship, which had 22 crew members on board, was followed by seven pirates on a speed boat.<br />The pirates boarded the ship and threatened the crew with firearms before taking off with over 13 thousand dollars in cash, and the crew's possessions including shoes and clothing.<br />The ministry said two crew members suffered bruising but no serious injuries.<br />
